didn't i hear somewhere that he is sick, too? And, uh, excuse me, but I don't know what Chomsky gets paid but $2500 is hardly raking in the big bucks as a speaker. You don't know what he actually gets since Columbia may have only had a fee to cover nominal expenses, paying C far more (or even less, I have no clue). But really now, begrudge someone a lousy $2500 given all the work he does do that goes unpaid -- like the answering of email all day, keeping up with events, etc. Daily kos makes that much for two top level ads for 1 week ferchrisakes.
