War has a way of moving people to write manifestos. If the heroic mode doesn't suit you, try the mock-heroic mode. On 8 February 1916, at a cabaret in Zurich, Tristan Tzara and his friends proclaimed the advent of Dada. Today is the 91st anniversary.
