Did Marx know anything about Buddhism or other non-Western traditions or was he speaking only of Abrahamic traditions?

Buddhist texts had been translated into German and French during Marx's youth and I believe Hegel talks about Eastern Religion. So Marx could have been aware of Buddhism tho I dont recall him writing anything about it. Marx after 1844 rarely wrote about religion except in passing. So the subject may have not inerested him as it did Engels. Schopenhauer lived about the same time as Marx and he did write about Buddhism in his work and i recall that Marx was familar with this German Idealist philosopher.
