Seriously though, the internal strategic machinations are all about winning universal hc; there will be a lot of massachusettes and california style things supported in the interim though while we build for that fight, which is stillborn anyway if the R's retain the presidency. Hopefully the left will prove seiu's pragmatic ways wrong by taking a year off navel-gazing and peanut gallerying to build power and win single-payer in a state or two where they're strong, but, it's hard to see ten thousand leftists spending a year talking to a million non-leftists about what they want and how to win it.
Anna B and Andy S, as usual, seem to have the conviction of a doorknob when it comes to it. Hopefully Eliseo or Kay will be our next intl prez.
