Not me. I use an exerciser -- no heat or cold to interfere. You just need to enjoy your own thinking enough. But also, a special point. One symptom (for me at least) of depression is periodic occasions when for weeks or months I can't do any sustained reading: _except when I'm on the move_. While peddling an exercycle at different times I read Smith's Wealth of Nations and (second time) Theories of Surplus Value. It was very odd. I could read sitting down only in spurts, and by skipping around in a text. On the exercycle I could read as long as I kept peddling.
Whatever the truth in the current debate, it is certain that many people who are slender are so simply because it is easy for them to be -- even difficult to be otherwise. In AF basic training I went from 124 to 150 in 6 weeks, and without making any effort one way or the other was back to 130 in about 3 months. Then while taking ADs (1985-2006) I crept up to about 170 (not overweight, but not for me comfortable), much of it in the month or so after I broke my hip and stopped smoking. I realized about 6 months ago I had been losing weight after dropping ADs because I started having to have my pants taken in. Currently at 140, which is probably near my ideal weight. And I make no effort to control my eating -- I use half-and-half instead of milk on my cereal, etc. It is pretty obvious that I am slender for other reasons than trying to be. There were even times in the past when I would make deliberate efforts to gain without doing so. (Homemade vanilla milkshakes with two or three eggs beaten in.)
I also do weight-lifting 3 times a week for about 30 minutes. But since my elbows went bad I haven't been able to do curls, chinning, or pulldowns.
I had developed very bad posture -- curved shoulders and back. Alexander technique training straightened the shoulders and gave me back near an inch of the height I had lost over the years.
Incidentally, some recent research in Germany has revealed that about 2 grams of chocalate a day (about the amount of one Hershey Kiss) will lower blood pressure significantly. Some other research reveals that stress can cause weight to cluster about the mid-section. (And I think a year or so ago I read someplace that weight around the waist could also be more dangerous -- I forget to what part of the body.)
