I gotta say, anti-Semitic stuff can be pretty
hilarious just on its own. I'm reading a book on
Cossack history right now (surprise!), the author of
which is a quite obvious anti-Semite. Every other page
contains some weird gratuitous comment about how
"Cossacks are people of the country and the steppe,
but note well how Jews live in cities and towns," or
how the Bolsheviks introduced "representatives of the
most revolutionary nationality" into the Cossack
territories. He just won't shut up about Jews. It's
freaking hilarious in its unabashedness and
unselfconsciousness, sort of like Lovecraft's racism,
but with a frenzied, slavering twist.
