Yes, that accusation was tossed into the air like antiradar chaff by Mr. Hearfield during the great transportation mode/building density debate of 2006 (or was it '05? Fuzziness creeps in).
Ironically, later that day I received a points extracting ticket on the NJ Turnpike from a State Trooper for doing around 90 MPH in a 65 MPH zone (there are no 90 MPH zones - officially speaking - so I found the Trooper's insistence on this point perfectly logical but amusing).
A friend had just completed performance enhancing mods on her new Subaru WRX TR and wanted me to take the wee beast from Nippon out for a spin.
As I shifted, rocketing past exit Exit 4A, I thought of Lord Heartfield and smiled. Then the Trooper's cruiser emerged from between trees obscuring the Turnpike's service road and I smiled a little less broadly.
