I've never really accepted the Nazism as revolutionary argument which seems to be orthodox in the academy right now, but that is neither here nor there. Hitler certainly is not an intellectual. Mein Kampf barely has control over the German language. Mussolini on the other hand was a fairly significant socialist intellectual in Italy before his betrayal. He even influenced the young Gramsci.
