Sure, but the fact that there is disagreement among the religious over practically every big social question actually reinforces the possibility of collaboration with significant numbers of them over questions we agree on. I mean, my assumption is that this happens anyway over such issues as war and the death penalty, as it used to happen over civil rights - no?

In the same way that if you ride a bicycle, you risk falling off. But independent, fossil-free transport is still a good idea.
