I've never eaten in an Indian restaurant, though I've experimented with Indian dishes at home. I like hot and spicy, and this restaurant specializes. Out of curiosity, what kinds of dishes would y'all recommend?

Now to write in my long unused food critic's voice...
Besides Aishwarya Rai, Indian bonne bouche that routinely enchants me are masala dosa (a vegetarian dish featuring chillies, potatoes and onions, among other bits of loveliness), chicken tikkas, coconut milk dosas and kodi vepudu (boneless chicken in an intriguingly spiced tomato base).
All highly recommended samples of South Indian fare. Not spicy mind you, but a delight for both the taste receptors and the soul nonetheless.
