Doug,

I think you are a bit off-base here. James query was idiotic, impolite and insulting. It is not hostile for Carrol to say so. I must admit that in this case he said so in defense of me but I think I would react the same way no matter who used the kind of rhetoric James used.

So to remind you James asks me, as if I am in favor of it, the following question:

James" "Who would you like to put to the slaughter first? Let's start with the jews, or maybe gypsies."

As I said above, this kind of rhetoric is simply unacceptable. It is disgusting.

It is not Carrol you should reprimand for hostility. Anybody who calls this kind of rhetoric idiotic and disgusting is actually being polite.
