Ah well, *Nassau* County -- it's hopelessly backward. I live in *Suffolk* County ;-)

At any rate, no matter how many social warts today's North may sport, nowhere in the North will you find war monuments commemorating soldiers who fought in the noble cause of defending white people's right to own black people -- nowhere. As soon as the South demolishes all of its monuments to the Confederacy and outlaws all public display of the Confederate flag I'll stop sneering at Dixie.
