in nearby economically depressed Bridgeport CT the cops have started
riding around on Segways in select areas. one went by the other night
when i was at a friend's cafe downtown. i tried to say hello to the cops
as they Segwayed by, curious to see their new toys. they avoided
eye-sight and even friendly interest and sped on.
