Hitler also looked for inspiration in the eugenic laws of many States which routinely steralized the mentally ill and mentally retarded which continued as late as 1949. To the eternal shame of my profession, social work, social workers during the 20's and 30's were used to identify for sterilization many of their clients and poor folk in their communities which fit the catagories.

Sorry to sound like a broken record (does anyone know what that means 
these days?), but this sort of shit is as American as apple pie. 
Eugenics has been around in this country for a century, and Hitler 
took inspiration from our Indian reservations. Why future? Why fascist?
