Every time I see another sportswriter sounding off on Bonds it reminds me of what I still think of as radio's greatest moment: In Ali's dressing room after he defeated Liston, forcing all the reporters to chant "You're the greatest" over and over before he'd answer any of their questions. Sportswriters with rare exceptions are a particularl nasty breed, especially when they begin to moralize.
