If so, "The Left" that has gained that power is a pretty vague entity, & there is no apparent way for "it" to accomplish much with the power gained. And moreover, it is not left activity that is responsible for this alleged gain but rather the success which Iraq militants are having in killing and maiming u.s. troops.
