Julio Huato condemns Dabashi's roughly equal treatment of Ahmadinejad's and Bollinger's comments! Ravi and Michael Smith and now even Marvin Gandall chime in with their support for Huato's tough minded criticism. Yet Dabashi devotes more than TEN TIMES more words to the criticism of "the deeply racist" Bollinger than to Ahmadinejad whom he considers "vastly superior" to the Shah and the mullah thugs! The question is how screaming facts could have been missed by seemingly thoughtful people.

Or how it could be missed that while Huato and comrades are laughably verbsoe in commands that Americans only condemn their own state, their posts actually never offer a real critical analysis of US foreign policy in the Middle East.

If leftists are really concerned about stopping the US war machine, they should be rallying behind Dabashi's credible and fact filled analysis rather than taking the cheapest of shots against him.

If they allow the Huato's and Furuhashi's to eclipse Dabashi, then they will have contributed to US imperialism.

But you know what? You all can read Huato, his lackey Ravi and the bizarre Furuhashi and the eloquent and thoughtful Michael Smith.

I'll take leave to read Dabashi's history of Iran.

Good bye. Rakesh
