Whose word has this? 1) The MAB is not a coalition partner in Respect; 2) None of the policies in Respect's founding statement or in the manifesto or in the extensive policy drafts or in conference resolutions reflect those of the MAB.

Catholics see it that way too, but I wouldn't rule them out of a socialist coalition, provided they accept that the coalition is committed to equal rights for all sexualities. Full and equal rights for LGBT is the position of Respect formally, explicitly and substantively. This isn't difficult information to come upon, so in future your "word has it" rumour-mongering would benefit from a modicum of Google-based research.
