Doug, nobody is claiming that. My post on this subject was probably too long, and nobody read past the lede (just as I usually don't). My bad, as they say. Here's what Andie wrote:

This is a defensible view, and a perfectly legitimate polemical gambit. There's no question of "slurs" or "insults" here. All this Foghorn Leghorn "Suh, you have impugned mah honah, Suh!" stuff is just silly.
