[lbo-talk] 'American kids, dumber than dirt'

Not to brag (well, a little), but my daughter, who jumped from 6th to 8th 
grade, and who currently is a 16-year-old senior at a community college/high 
school hybrid (one of four nationwide), is a bit on the smart side, and her 
tales about the kids she goes to school with -- and remember, she's in an 
accelerated program -- are depressing. By the end of every week, she's 
ranting about the lack of creative intelligence and political awareness. She 
really despises America, at least the parts she's aware of, and looks to 
move to Europe, most likely France.

What kind of parent am I?!
