Identity Crisiis, by Jim Harper (not the repulsive mess one would normally expect from the Cato Institute) The Governance of Privacy, by Colin J. Bennett and Charles D. Raab (very good, not popular with the other students so far) Privacy, Information, and Technology, by Daniel J. Solove, Marc Rotenberg, and Paul M. Schwartz (law is hard) Privacy on the Line, by Whitfield Diffie and Susan Landau (not for class, but interesting supplemental stuff) Beautiful Evidence, by Edward Tufte (again, not assigned for class, but on topic and pure genius)
I just picked up and am anxious to start The Social Life of Information, by John Seely Brown (who signed this library copy!) and Paul Duguid
Okay, I'm a geek,
