Hmm, I believe the technical term for this condition is called
"capitalism," wherein the only people who have worthwhile knowledge
are called "inside traders." If you seek a superior alternative
(absent socialism of course), I would suggest a trip to Las Vegas --
at least there you can get free drinks while you lose your money
gambling.
