TOKYO, April 4 (Reuters) - Japan slipped to fifth place from third in overseas aid spending in 2007 as the world's second biggest economy cut such assistance by 30 percent, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development said on Friday.
Japan's official development assistance stood at $7.69 billion in 2007, a 30.1 percent drop from the previous year, the OECD said in an annual report. http://www.reuters.com/article/latestCrisis/idUST95585
