But the social relations expressed by the formulas x commodity A = y commodity B and M-C-M' are not geographically limited to the United States.
You and Wotjek wish to retain the social relations expressed by those formulas while discarding all the nasty things that are part of those social relations. But "good capitalism" is not even utopia, it is an impossibility.
