ultra-conservative Republicans behind FreedomWorks, in
addition to wanting to privatize Social Security,
oppose the Iraq War? Wow. So it really is Buchananite
"republic, not an empire" paleo-conservatism mixed
with selective libertarianism, then? Pretty screwy.
