The SEIU story seems to change from day to day. At first it was charging hordes of "CNA thugs" against the peaceful yet doughty knights of SEIU, now its 'nothing happened.' This is beginning to remind me of Freud's broken kettle. robert wood

>> Amazing press release from SEIU Int. (the 7th on the LN Conference
>> alone). The video released is an odd move on their part as it
>> contradicts all their recent accounts of "conference security"
>> attacking them. We are shown for what we were: a small group of
>> bewildered, yet determined people with their arms linked.
>>
>> However, their video omits some key elements of the story:
>>
>> 1. The first few minutes are not shot from this vantage point
>> including "the charge", the battle for the doors (both inside and
>> out), Dianne going down, and the rest of the roughest moments. I
>> distinctly remember video cameras on their part close to the front
>> during this time. Where is that footage?
>>
>> 2. It pans away during the moments when their folks who were caught
>> between the lines were striking people about midway through. You'll
>> see some of them with bandanas on their brows being let through the
>> lines later. One of the larger white guys with a bandana on his
>> brow (with a purple fleece jacket) is the one that struck me at
>> least twice and the one that others identify as the one that struck
>> them while trying to get either forward or backward into their lines.
