Ah, the allusion was to Fradkov not Medvedev.

Are you denying that "the tradition of all dead generations weighs
like a nightmare on the brains of the living", and - though it's changing
with the generations -there still exists a deep streak of antisemitism
within the more backward sectors of the Russian and other East European
populations analagous to antiblack racism in the US?
