[lbo-talk] Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn Dies at 89 (NY Times)

A German totally unselfconsciously taking the moral high ground with regard to barbarian Easterners, with respect to antisemitism no less. I love it. Note the sharp implicit dividing line between eastern antisemitism (a deep trait of the barbarian peoples, because they're Them) and western antisemitism (an aberration, because they're Us).

For fuck's sake, Pamyat hasn't been functioning for years and years.
