But it isn't Bush, it's Putin (or Medvedev). Imagining it as Bush serves no purpose. Let's imagine it was Gandhi instead. Would you want Gandhi to send in troops to stop Georgian forces? This is a pointless exercise.

The US since WWII has demonstrated a hundred times greater propensity to massacre innocent civilians and sit on it's ass while it's puppets do the same than has the FSU or Russia. This doesn't make Russians saints but they aren't the US either.
