and refused to take Hillary Clinton on her own terms."

Aside from the broader argument.  I don't buy this.  Hillary came in for
criticism from progressives for her vote on the Iraq war when she was in the
U.S. Senate.  That was Hillary on her own pro-war voting terms.  And then
her health care plan was one of appeasement to the insurance companies.
(not that Obama was any better on that count).
