I don't get it either. Could it possibly be due to some kind of projection by his fan club members? Some of them want to see a young guy who is a change from the white boy's club represented by George W. Bush. Are others projecting their liberal guilt about race politics onto him? Hey! We're not racist! We support the wonderful young black candidate!
