I fully expect to be tarred and feathered for this, but I met O'Reilly once at a party and liked him. Like Ron Perlman's character in Last Supper, he's paid handsomely to play a character on TV and not at all shy about admitting it. To be sure, his personal beliefs coincide with those of his persona, but I don't think he's hysterically attached to them in the same way as Coulter genuinely seems to be with hers.
