No need to dwell on the silliness of parsing rhetoric drawn from the African-American Biblical tradition. But consider this--if Michelle Obama's grandmother eight generations back could look forward to the life of her descendant compared with her own, would she regard Barack's "90 percent" image offensive--or understated?
