OK, I confess I've not been reading every line of every post but this  
is flat out untrue. Billion (trillion?)-dollar 'public  
relations' (formerly known as propaganda) industries employing the  
most sophisticated psychology, the subsidies of big agra making oreos  
cheaper than carrots, neoliberal strategies to increase 'worker  
productivity' suppress wages and necessarily diminish personal time  
and freedom. These just off the top of my head. It's hard to imagine  
how one can ignore such coercion.
