It's rather astonishing to see Rakesh, who under his real identity was always critical of Democratic politics, engaging in this weird, obsessive campaign. I know that listservs are always to some degree performances, but I don't like false identities assumed mainly to stir shit up. Abu wasn't as racially charged as his earlier Jan Carowan character, but it had hints of that. I'm going to unsub Abu now.
