Meanwhile, the original (1978-1982) lineup of Killing Joke has reunited and is embarking on a global tour late in '08, with only two spots planned for the US so far, both in NYC.

Amebix always claimed KJ as a primary influence and took Kropotkin's "No Gods, No Masters' motto as the band's own, were affiliated with Crass Records, and also pioneered the "crust" sub-genre of mixing metal with punk but w/ a DIY attitude. Grainy video of them is here:

I emailed the singer of Amebix to see if they'd open for KJ but he seemed to think there'd be a snowball's chance in hell of that happening. :( I'd pay to go to London, England, though to see that dream show happen.
