[lbo-talk] Vidal's Infamous Esquire Piece

While I have this original issue (costing me $15 about 11 years ago), I've 
yet to see online Vidal's take on his and WFB's crypto-Nazi/queer flap from 
the September1969 Esquire. It infuriated Buckley who sued both the mag and 
Vidal. This piece was legally prohibited from appearing in any Vidal essay 
collection, and never did. (Thanks to my old FAIR chum S. Rendall for the 
link.) A fun read.
