Expectations for equal opportunity, upward mobility, against racism, 
support for education...

I don't love or hate Obama; I just want people to acknowledge that 
independently of what he is, he is also a symbol of something good that 
people genuinely want and are willing to mobilize for and that this 
should not be dismissed as self-delusion.
