I don't think it's delusional but I think that the inevitable disappointment it will bring will be a negative and cause people to become further alienated from the electoral process. I know certain anarchists think people not being involved politically is a good thing but for those of us who believe change will come about by mass action rather than mass inaction that disappointment looks self-defeating.
