I do not have the foggiest notion by what "It" refers to in "It's true," so I will ignore that.

But the rest of the paragraph presupposes the totally false that the test of intelligence is that it results in truth and goodness. That is absurd on the face of it. Voting for knaves or fools is no indication of stupity, nor is voting for wise and good men any evidence of stupidity.

This absurd valuation of Intelligence as the source of all things good and lack of intelligence is the source of all things evil is my definition of elitism. It also exhibits an utter failure to examine the workings of ideology.

Intelligence is important, but you simply cannot make these simple-minded identifications.
