The point is that FMPR is objectively a craft union with only 40,000 members and no prospect for contributing to the overarching goal of union density.

This word just in from Andy Stern:

The achievements of our convention were a cause of rejoicing not only to the union, and not only to the rank and file, but also to all honest supporters of the labor movement.

But they were no cause of rejoicing to the remnants of the anachronistic dinousaurs; on the contrary, they only enraged them the more as time went on.

They infuriated the lickspittles of the defeated retrograde factions - the puny remnants of the following of Rosselli, De Moro, and Hernandez.
