what leftists support clinton? i don't know one single one to swipe my claws at.

dyson wrote an entire book criticizing cosby and the black middle class for spewing the claptrap obama does. for him to support obama without ever once addressing that is more than a little troubling. and i don't really care what else he does. you write a book about the black middle class's war on the working class and poor blacks, and i think you need to explain why you'd vote for someone who promises to continue that war. (not much different than i think that dyson needs to answer why he spends more talking talking about himself than about black women in his tribute to black women. :)

i was talking with a guy at work the other day and told him, "obama's going to win. the thing is, what's going to happen when he does and doesn't manage to cure the economy, lower gas prices, bring home the troops, etc." "

"They're going to say, "see, we gave the black guy a chance. No more chances for you."

He nodded like crazy.

since i don't agitate at work about radical politics i said, "well, it's up to us to make those things happen for him, isn't it? we have to get out there and keep that movement going, fight to bring those troops home. he needs everyone's support."

like i said, the whole thing is a big horsey race for me and i realize carrol would like to ring my neck for encouraging a twenty-something black man to get more involved in dem politics. :)
