"The Left" does not exist, and while there are many reasons for that, most but not all of them beyond our control, _one_ of the reasons within out control is the tendency of leftists (and there are 10s of thousands, 100s of thousands, of leftists) to make stupid statements about "The Left" as though it were a single entity and any one instance of it summed up the whole. Incidentally, "the working class" is almost as stupid as "The Left." Class is a social relationship, not a bottle that one sorts the different beans into.
