[lbo-talk] NASCAR romances

This kind of trash talk is why the left has such difficulty reaching 
working class people. I work with public libraries. There is as much

 demand for NASCAR romance as there is for Imre Kertész. Do you have 
some sort of acceptable reading list that makes people worthy and 
immune to your abjuration?
Reading is an ability that get stronger over time. For some people 
with long hours at work the simple NASCAR romance might give them a 
little respite before they get easier jobs, more leisure time and can 
move on up to Antonio.Tabucchi.
