Frank Rich and other journalists have argued that this kind of racism is on the decline and has less hold on the young voters who will be key to an Obama victory in November. I'm not so sure. What do others think?

Michael Yates ^^^^ CB: This is a centrally interesting question of the concrete conjuncture. So, far Barry's campaign has produced objective evidence of a new level of mass of White people who will vote beyond the long shadow of race. Whether it is a critical electoral mass for victory in the Presidential election will probably be known this coming November. There certainly is a new level of anti-racist conscious white voters as compared with the past in US history.
