I'm not questioning the point of the blog. I though that was obvious from my question but I guess not. What I was questioning was why the prison authorities would allow someone to maintain such a blog using the prison systems computers. The fact that nothing particularly damning has been posted could partly explain why they allow it.

I missed the startlingly obvious fact that he is on work release so he posts from work, not from prison. How I missed something that obvious is beyond me. Early senility?
