I hate to burst some people's bubbles, but back in 2004 John Kerry promised to continue the Iraq war but to prosecute it more intelligently than Bush. I saw Kerry the other day on TV boasting about how he came up with the idea of doing the "surge" first. Kerry as president might have been better than Bush in many respects, but not on Iraq.
