He's  been good of LA unions--the City passed a living wage ordinance for
the hotel workers in the LAX corridor, City workers won a significant pay
increase last year, and the city just approved a project labor agreement on
$10-15 billion worth of work between the the Building Trades Council and the
City's Community Redevelopment Agency that will also create pathways for
thousands of people from poor, Black and Brown communities into Building
Trades apprenticeship programs.
