THE GAME: 125TH ANNIVERSARY

Date: November 22, 2008 at 12 pm Location: Fox Sports Grill in Atlantic Station 261 19th Street Atlanta, GA 30363 404.207.1369 Kids welcome!

Game Forecast for Cambridge--High 32, Low 20 Game Forecast for New Haven--Heavy Tears Followed by Profound Boredom Game Forecast for Fox Sports Grill--High 60s, hot wings, cold beer.

WARNING! In past years we have had complaints that Yalies, knowing their football team had no chance of victory, came to The Game only in order to pass out business cards in an attempt to get hired by Harvardians. This is somewhat ironic since Yale leaders are the ones responsible for having screwed up the economy in the first place. The proper etiquette in these situations is as follows: Graciously accept the business card, put it in your pocket, and compliment the Yalie on his bowtie or her plaid skirt. Tell them that with a Harvard graduate as President and a Harvard President as Treasury Secretary, help is on the way. Then, as you leave the Fox Sports Grill after yet another Harvard victory over Yale, take their business cards and discretely deposit them in the garbage cans that we are having placed outside the bar for just this purpose.

Not only will this be the 125th anniversary of The Game, it is also the 40th anniversary of Harvard's 29-29 victory over Yale in 1968, one of the greatest games in football history. For an excellent article on that game, go tohttp://movies.nytimes.com/2008/11/19/movies/19harv.html

Remember, any Harvard grad, accompanied by both parents, who has attended at least 75 of the last 125 Harvard Yale games gets a free pitcher of beer and a box of Depends, compliments of the Harvard Club.

GO CRIMSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
