ECO-UNFRIENDLY: Do Environmentalists Have a Hidden Agenda?
Last week, NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) announced that October 2008 was the hottest October on record, fueling the fire of environmentalists continually looking to validate their doomsday prognostications for Mother Earth . . . except “oops,” GISS accidentally carried over September’s temperatures into its October data.
If anyone were able to use this blunder for fuel, it would be civil engineer, Rob Roselli, who finds the crusade for “global warming” troubling, perhaps, more for what it hides than what it broadcasts.
“In order for a theory to be valid, it must be verifiable, field tested and backed by data,” says Roselli, who focused his engineering degree with a concentration in environmental studies. “This is true for all branches of science. Yet, the models proclaiming a ‘global warming’ have no proven, documented verification and, understatedly, have been given an unfair and irresponsible pass by the media. Truthfully, scientific dat a contradicts the theory of global warming, and the GISS’ recent error certainly lends itself to that fact.”
But, for Roselli, just refuting the theory of global warming is only the beginning. He adds, “The fact that it is, quite frankly, so easy to discredit, should give us all pause to take a closer look at the theory and the motivations of those behind it.”
As a guest on your show, Roselli can lay the groundwork for the possibility that global warming is nothing more than a front that feeds off the emotional nerve of Americans, while it, ironically, “gives government a blank check for the control of private property.”
Combining his own professional experiences in wastewater treatment and wetland restoration with facts about environmental champions, such as Al Gore, and proof of technology improving rather than destroying the environment, Roselli can construct a highly plausible environmentalist hidden agenda that will, at the very least, leave your au dience scratching its collective head.
